Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based in Augusta, GA and focuses on delivering safe, evidence-based patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting patient responses, and coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. The Registered Nurse provides patient and family education, supports discharge planning, and advocates for patient needs and preferences. The role also involves adhering to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements, while participating in quality improvement and continuing education activities. The nurse is expected to maintain professional communication, contribute to a respectful work environment, and support the mission and values of HCA Healthcare. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain), and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred). Demonstrated clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, including the ability to prioritize care, respond to changes in patient condition, and use evidence-based practices. Proficiency in patient care delivery, such as administering medications and therapies, performing clinical procedures within scope of practice, and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including the ability to provide clear education, de-escalate tense situations, and collaborate on care plans. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, acute care settings, including flexibility with shifts, reliable time management, and adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
