Job Description: Assisting with vendor/subcontractor quality surveillance throughout the procurement cycle: supporting technical bid evaluations, participating in pre-award vendor assessments, and joining shop inspections Supporting the review of vendor ITP/QCP, quality plans, and vendor data books (MRB/MDR) under the guidance of senior team members Observing and assisting during FAT and SAT for electrical packages (switchgear, transformers, motors, cables, and distribution systems) Learning and supporting hazardous area (Ex) equipment quality control, including basic Ex certification checks and installation verifications per the IEC 60079 series Assisting in the drafting and tracking of NCRs, CARs, punch lists, inspection reports, and RFIs Collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams, and supporting communication with third-party inspection agencies Developing working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISO 9001) under supervision Assisting in reading and interpreting single line diagrams, cable schedules, loop drawings, and technical datasheets Maintaining clear technical English correspondence and documentation, with a willingness to research standards and learn continuously Qualifications: BSc in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering from a recognised technical university Basic coursework, internship, or project exposure related to QA/QC fundamentals or electrical engineering systems Familiarity with reading electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and technical datasheets Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles Willingness to obtain certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Ex awareness/certification, or HSE trainings MS Office (good command of Excel), basic AutoCAD viewing capability, and willingness to learn EDMS/document control platforms (Aconex, SharePoint) or ERP systems
