Marketing Manager Lenexa, KS $90-120k A growing family of companies is looking for a strategic, people‑centered Marketing Manager to lead brand, content, and channel strategy across both construction and service divisions. This is a chance to shape how the organization shows up to customers, partners, future employees, and the communities it serves. You’ll lead the marketing function, mentor a small but high‑performing team, and build the content and campaigns that fuel growth, attract talent, and strengthen long‑standing client relationships. Join a values‑driven team deeply rooted in its community. What You’ll Own Strategy & Leadership Build and execute a long‑term marketing strategy that supports growth and market expansion. Partner with executives and business development to set priorities and drive key initiatives. Own brand, messaging, and market presence across all companies. Talent Attraction & Team Development Mentor and grow a high‑performing marketing team. Lead employer branding efforts that attract skilled tradespeople and professional talent. Support HR with recruiting materials and messaging. Channel Management Manage social media, the website, print advertising, and sponsorships. Maintain consistent voice, quality, and cadence across all platforms. Content That Drives Revenue Create content that attracts new construction and service clients — and strengthens relationships with existing ones. Develop proposals, RFP/RFQ materials, and sales presentations. Produce case studies, testimonials, and retention‑focused content. Turn market and competitor insights into actionable tools for the sales team. Brand & Storytelling Lead storytelling across digital, print, and internal channels. Protect brand reputation through consistent, values‑driven communication. Support community outreach, sponsorships, and milestone events. Measurement & Operations Track engagement, ROI, and campaign performance using analytics dashboards. Manage marketing budgets with clarity and discipline. Qualifications Required 5+ years of marketing leadership experience in construction or similar industries. Strong leadership presence and ability to build trust across field, office, and executive teams. Creative problem‑solver with a track record of driving growth and attracting talent. Experience developing marketing talent. Skilled in proposals, RFP/RFQ content, and client‑facing materials. Strong brand management and multi‑channel communication skills. Proficient with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and practical AI applications. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Strong project management and organizational skills. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Experience building or scaling a marketing department. Familiarity with construction procurement processes. Experience with employer branding or recruitment marketing.
