Senior Python Developer (Odoo)

This is the job Our client is a Netherlands-based mobile device manufacturer building its online store on Odoo. You’ll join their in-house Odoo/Python team, working long-term on Odoo customizations, backend services, APIs, and integrations. They’re looking for a well-rounded senior engineer who can also contribute to architecture, integrations, and full-stack development. This is you You’re a senior software engineer who has built real things on Odoo and understands e-commerce from the inside. Specifically, you bring: Strong Odoo development experience – you’ve developed, customized and maintained Odoo modules and integrations in real projects Strong e-commerce domain experience – you understand how an online store works end to end Solid Python and PostgreSQL , plus JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS for the front-end side of the work Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations Everyday fluency with Git, Docker, Linux and CI/CD Strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced English – you’ll work directly with an international client team An architect’s mindset – you’re comfortable owning design decisions and working across the full stack, not just inside Odoo This is your role Develop, customize and maintain Odoo modules and integrations for the eStore Build and maintain the backend services, APIs and web applications around the platform Integrate Odoo with external platforms and third-party systems Work hands-on with databases, deployment and cloud/server environments Troubleshoot, optimize and improve the existing applications Contribute to architecture and technical decisions beyond the Odoo layer, helping shape how the platform evolves What awaits you at Avenga?
