AGENT IN TRAINING BEN CHARNEY AGENCY | FARMERS INSURANCE Grand Rapids, MI Full-Time | Monday–Friday Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses The Ben Charney Agency is looking for a motivated Agent in Training to join our growing Grand Rapids team. If you’re driven, coachable, and enjoy working with people, we’ll provide the training and support to help you build a successful insurance career. No insurance experience is required. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Build relationships with new and existing clients • Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, and outbound calls • Prepare quotes and recommend insurance solutions based on each client’s needs • Educate customers on Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty Insurance • Follow up consistently and work toward individual and agency sales goals WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • A positive attitude and willingness to be coached • Self-motivation, dependability, and consistent follow-up • Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required • A current Property and Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain one WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and bonuses • Paid training, mentorship, and ongoing sales coaching • Monday–Friday schedule with evenings and weekends off • Professional development through the University of Farmers • Career growth and potential eligibility for the Farmers Protégé Program BUILD YOUR FUTURE WITH US This is an opportunity to develop valuable sales and business skills while growing alongside a supportive agency.
