Refit Project Engineer

Role Description This full-time Refit Project Engineer role is an on-site position based in Tuzla. The Refit Project Engineer oversees refit and upgrade projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and in line with safety and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating engineering activities, preparing project plans and technical documentation, supervising site work, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients. The role involves reviewing electrical and mechanical drawings, providing technical guidance, monitoring progress against milestones, and proactively resolving issues that arise during refit execution. The Refit Project Engineer also contributes to cost estimates, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of refit processes and standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering skills to oversee refit designs, review technical drawings, and support on-site implementation. Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to define scope, schedule activities, manage resources, and monitor project progress. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and on-site teams, both verbally and in writing. Candidates should have practical experience in refit, construction, or industrial engineering environments, with a focus on on-site execution and safety compliance. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Marine, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent professional experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Candidates with proficiency in project management tools, CAD or drawing review software, and familiarity with applicable standards and regulations will be preferred.
