Production Manager

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production and planning operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, effective planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration while driving operational excellence, food safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within FMCG manufacturing. • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, inventory control, supply chain processes, and continuous improvement. • Systems: Experience with ERP and MRP systems. • Languages: Fluent English, both written and spoken. • Leadership Style: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and people management skills. Key Responsibilities • Operational Excellence & KPI Management: Lead daily production operations and ensure achievement of performance targets.Monitor KPIs and drive operational improvements. • Safety & Environment (EHS): Ensure compliance with EHS standards and promote a strong safety culture. • Food Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Support quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Production Planning & Inventory Control: Manage production planning, capacity utilization, and inventory levels. Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams. • Lean Manufacturing & Cost Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs. • People Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop production and planning teams.Support performance management and talent development activities. • Digitalization & Reporting: Drive ERP/MRP utilization and process improvements. Ensure accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
