Field Service Specialist (Safety)

Responsibilities Provide the required after-sales technical support for equipment received at the service center or installed at customer sites. Perform the initial technical inspection of equipment accepted into the service center, identify required actions, and follow up on the service process. Deliver after-sales maintenance, calibration, and commissioning services at customer facilities. Diagnose faulty components at the service center or customer sites when required, and communicate findings to the relevant department to prepare repair or replacement quotations. Prepare and maintain service reports and all related service records for completed maintenance and repair activities. Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts and consumables required for service operations, ensuring inventory is kept up to date and informing the Technical Service Leader of replenishment needs. Ensure that all measurement and calibration instruments, tools, and equipment are regularly inspected, maintained, and kept in good working condition. Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements during service activities and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever necessary. Adhere to all customer site rules, procedures, and safety requirements while working on-site. Ensure the proper use and care of company-issued tools, equipment, and other assigned assets. Work in accordance with service schedules and travel plans, and provide regular updates and reports to the Technical Service Leader. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related technical field, Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar technical service role, Proficiency in English sufficient to read and understand technical documentation, Proficient in MS Office tools Strong team player with the ability to work independently and problem-solving skills Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel Completed military service (for male candidates)
