Quality Control Director

We are looking for a Quality Control Director to join our Quality Control Department at our Headquarters located in Istanbul / Çekmeköy. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the overall Quality Control strategy aligned with company objectives Lead all Quality Control laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, EU and other applicable regulatory requirements Build, develop and lead high-performing Quality Control teams Define laboratory performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure effective management of raw materials, in-process, bulk, finished product and stability testing programs Oversee analytical method validation, laboratory investigations, OOS/OOT management and data integrity Provide executive oversight for CAPA, change control and risk management activities related to Quality Control Lead regulatory inspections and customer audits representing the Quality Control function. Manage laboratory budgets, resource planning, equipment investments and capacity planning Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, R&D and Regulatory Affairs to ensure product quality and business continuity Drive digitalization and laboratory excellence initiatives Report Quality Control performance and risks directly to senior leadership Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. Master's degree is preferred Minimum 12–15 years of Quality Control experience within multinational pharmaceutical, cosmetics, OTC or FMCG companies Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing Quality Control managers and laboratory organizations Extensive knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA, ISO standards and global regulatory expectations. Strong experience in laboratory management, analytical techniques, stability programs and data integrity Proven experience leading regulatory inspections by FDA, EU authorities and international customers Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong financial, strategic planning and people leadership skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent English
