We are looking for a Digital Money Manager to lead our strong technology team behind high-volume, mission-critical systems that are shaping the future of payment technologies. Can simplify complex topics, make sound decisions under uncertainty, and focus on sustainable outcomes in a high-volume, mission-critical, and continuously evolving domain such as digital money and payment systems. Has strong knowledge of the Payment Facilitator (PF) model and lifecycle , with the ability to assess its business, technology, operations, risk, and regulatory dimensions holistically and manage related dependencies end to end. Has strong experience and domain expertise in payment systems, digital money/e-wallet solutions, and high-volume, mission-critical financial systems . Can evaluate technology, product, operations, risk, and regulatory perspectives together and strike the right balance between technical and business requirements and customer and organizational needs. Combines strong leadership with domain expertise and a results-oriented mindset, supporting team development while delivering sustainable business outcomes. Mandatory Qualifications At least 3 years of direct people management experience in a similar Engineering Manager / Technology Manager role within financial technologies, banking technologies, or payment systems, including responsibility for the performance, development, capacity, and resource management of Software Engineer and/or Business Analyst teams. Strong experience in banking, fintech, or payment technologies, with solid knowledge of Payment Facilitator (PF/PayFac), acquiring, merchant/sub-merchant payment acceptance , and the roles, integrations, and dependencies across the broader payment ecosystem. Hands-on experience in digital money, digital/electronic wallets, and payment platforms , with knowledge of onboarding & KYC, authorization, security, fraud/risk, transaction monitoring, settlement/reconciliation, accounting, and reporting processes. Experience with high-volume, highly available, mission-critical financial systems , with the ability to evaluate performance, capacity, scalability, availability, resilience, security, and operational risk holistically. Strong technical knowledge of modern application architectures, distributed systems, API-based integrations, and microservices architectures , with sufficient technical depth to evaluate architecture, data, integration, scalability, performance, and security decisions together with engineering teams. End-to-end SDLC and Agile experience , from solution design through development, testing, UAT, production deployment, and production monitoring, with solid knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps, test automation, code quality, and unit/integration testing practices . Strong knowledge of monitoring/observability, incident & problem management, and root-cause analysis in mission-critical production environments, with the ability to guide teams toward operational resilience and sustainable problem resolution. Ability to evaluate technical decisions in terms of business value, customer experience, time-to-market, cost, technical debt, regulation, security, operational risk, and sustainability , and to provide direction on platform modernization and technology transformation initiatives. Management or strong technical leadership experience with Software Engineer and/or Business Analyst teams , including effective prioritization, capacity planning, and resource management across product and technology initiatives. A strong people leadership approach, with the ability to support team development through coaching, mentoring, delegation, and empowerment, while fostering a culture of open feedback, trust, ownership, accountability, and sustainable high performance. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills , with the ability to align product, technology, operations, architecture, risk, fraud, security, regulatory, and vendor/third-party stakeholders around shared objectives, as well as strong decision-making and risk management capabilities under uncertainty. A degree in a relevant engineering/technology discipline or equivalent technology experience, together with English proficiency sufficient to work effectively with global stakeholders . Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge and experience in authorization, security, fraud/risk, reconciliation/settlement, and dispute/chargeback processes within payment systems. Product, project, or technology management experience in financial or technology environments with extensive regulatory and information security requirements . Experience leading large-scale technology transformation, platform modernization, or organizational transformation programs , including effectively managing changes in operating models and team culture. Experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or in a similar Agile leadership role , with a track record of contributing to the advancement of Agile ways of working across teams and the broader organization.
