We are looking for a “Electrical Group Chief” be based in our Iraq Erbil Wastewater Treatment Plant Project. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering At least 15 years of professional experience in industrial projects Minimum 5 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment plants Strong knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, control panels, motor control centers (MCCs), and power distribution systems Experience with instrumentation, automation, and control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) Familiarity with cable routing, cable support systems, cable pulling, and terminations Knowledge of earthing, lighting, and electrical protection systems Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments No travel restrictions and willingness to work actively on site Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage all electrical installation and assembly activities at the construction site Ensure that works comply with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and automation teams to ensure smooth project execution Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation Monitor the progress and quality of electrical works and report regularly to project management Support testing, commissioning, and startup activities of electrical and control systems Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards
