Senior Accounting Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations Proficiency in English Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (FI/CO/MM), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Solid knowledge of Turkish GAAP, Turkish Tax Legislation, VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory reporting requirements. Team-oriented, organized, and open to change Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization What You Will Be Doing? Managing general ledger transactions and maintain the accuracy of accounting records Preparing and issuing invoices Distributing and recording all expense/cost/investment invoices Performing cost and profitability controls Controlling and recording staff expenses Ensuring compliance with changing tax regulations Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements Managing official procedures, declarations, and notifications Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local regulations and corporate policies. Preparing budget and forecast expense estimates Following customer collections and supplier payments Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax declarations and statutory filings.
