Project Team Lead for Technology

Company Description Semper Technology is an R&D center affiliated with the Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (DAI-Labor) at the Technical University of Berlin. It collaborates with public institutions and private companies on national and international projects focused on cybersecurity, data analytics, embedded and intelligent systems, and future communication networks. It continues to develop its well-known products such as Alim, Bilgin, and Brain4X. Semper Technology is seeking candidates with the following skills to be employed at Teknopark Istanbul (Kurtköy). Position We are looking for a highly motivated Team Lead to lead and coordinate software-driven R&D projects in a dynamic and international environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of software development processes, team leadership, and technology-based innovation. Required Qualifications ● Graduated from Computer Engineering or related fields of well reputed universities, preferably with a Ph.D. Degree ● At least 8 years of experience in Engineering ● Demonstrated track record in managing software or IT projects, preferably in an international environment ● Strong knowledge of modern software development approaches, including Agile software development methods and related tools ● Project budget and time planning ● Experience in leading multiple teams and projects in parallel ● Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and coordination skills ● Experience in technical recruitment and team building is a plus ● Passion for future technologies and emerging trends ● A highly motivated team player with strong verbal and written communication skills ● Proficiency in English (German is a plus) ● Willingness to work on-site at Teknopark Istanbul, Kurtköy Additional Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following domains is highly preferred: ● Cybersecurity, GenAI, Agentic Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Embedded and Intelligent Systems ● Experience in national and international funding programs such as TÜBİTAK TEYDEB, KOSGEB, Horizon Europe, and Celtic+ ● Familiarity with continuous development, continuous integration, and modern software delivery practices ● Experience in managing R&D projects involving public institutions and private sector stakeholders ● Ability to contribute to strategic planning, business development, and project acquisition activities Key Responsibilities ● Lead and manage software and R&D projects from initiation to successful delivery ● Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs ● Manage project budget, planning, scheduling, and execution ● Coordinate multiple teams and projects in parallel while ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives ● Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and performance indicators, and take corrective actions where necessary ● Work closely with internal teams, customers, public institutions, and project partners ● Support and improve Agile software development and project management practices ● Contribute to team growth, technical hiring, and capability building ● Ensure high standards in project documentation, reporting, and communication ● Support the identification and acquisition of national and international R&D funding and collaboration opportunities
