Part Time Working Student (Design Engineer)

As a working student in our Mechanical Design team, you will support engineering and operational activities while gaining hands-on experience in low and medium voltage switchgear design and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: Providing back-office support to enhance operational efficiency and ensure smooth execution of daily engineering activities. Supporting the design and development of low and medium voltage switchgear solutions in line with Siemens standards and customer requirements. Contributing to specialized customer projects by preparing and reviewing technical design documentation. Supporting product maintenance and revision management activities to ensure product sustainability and continuous improvement. Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) with accuracy and attention to detail. Creating assembly drawings and part drawings to support manufacturing and production processes. Providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and successful project execution. Assisting in engineering documentation and process improvement initiatives. What You Need To Make a Difference Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (minimum 3rd-year student). Available to work 2–3 days per week at our Gebze Plant. Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering processes. Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing practices. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
