Content Editor

Ace Alliance is looking for a Content Editor to join our content team. The role will focus on producing and editing content across the Ace Alliance News, Interviews, Blog, and Directory sections. The successful candidate will also provide occasional editorial support for other media sites, covering developments within affiliate marketing, crypto, digital marketing, e-commerce, and related industries. We are looking for someone with strong editorial judgement, excellent written English, and the ability to turn research and source material into accurate, engaging, and well-structured content. The role involves using AI content-production tools, with the editor responsible for researching, fact-checking, refining, formatting, and publishing each piece. They will also create and adapt supporting visual assets in Canva, following each brand's editorial and visual guidelines. Most coverage will have a B2B focus. Previous experience with iGaming, affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or another relevant industry would be beneficial but is not essential. Responsibilities Producing, editing, and publishing content across the Ace Alliance News, Interviews, Blog, and Directory sections Using AI content tools to create drafts and develop them into publication-ready articles Researching industry developments and identifying suitable news and blog topics Verifying facts, statistics, information, and original sources before publication Editing content for accuracy, clarity, structure, tone, and consistency Preparing interview questions and turning completed interviews into polished editorial features Creating and updating company directory profiles Supporting other media sites with affiliate marketing and digital marketing news when required Following the editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and publishing standards Applying basic on-page SEO principles, including headings, metadata, internal links, and keyword placement Following the visual guidelines and templates established Creating and adapting featured images, in-text graphics, and other visual assets for news articles, interviews, blog posts, and directory pages using Canva Coordinating with internal teams to ensure content supports wider editorial and commercial priorities Managing several pieces of content at different stages while meeting agreed deadlines Requirements At least two years of experience in content editing, content production, journalism, copywriting, or a related role Professional-level written and spoken English Strong editing, proofreading, research, and fact-checking skills The ability to assess whether a source is reliable and identify the original source of a story Excellent attention to detail and editorial judgement Practical experience using Canva to create and edit professional digital content assets A good eye for layout, visual consistency, image selection, and brand presentation The ability to work independently and take responsibility Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several deadlines Confidence working with AI-assisted or automated content production tools The ability to adapt between different brands, audiences, formats, and editorial guidelines Good communication and collaboration skills Considered an Advantage Knowledge of the iGaming industry Experience covering news for affiliate marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and similar verticals.
