About DSALTA DSALTA is building AI-powered compliance and vendor management systems that help teams streamline security workflows, automate evidence collection, and move faster with confidence. We're in stealth, combining strong security foundations, deep integrations, and AI-driven workflows to make compliance and risk management simpler, faster, and more scalable. The Role We're looking for a front-end developer who is equal parts engineer and designer. You'll own the look, feel, and performance of DSALTA's product — turning complex compliance and risk workflows into clean, intuitive experiences. You'll partner closely with product, design, and backend, and use AI tooling as a core part of how you design, prototype, and ship. What You'll Do Build the UI — Ship fast, accessible, responsive interfaces in Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Execute on design — Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, reusable components with Tailwind CSS, adding your own design judgment along the way. Manage state & data — Handle application state with Zustand and Jotai, and server state with React Query (v3). Work AI-first — Use AI tools extensively across design, prototyping, code generation, and iteration — and help shape how the team works with them. Collaborate on design — Refine flows, prototypes, and design systems in Figma; produce and adjust visual assets as needed. Own performance & quality — Optimize rendering, bundle size, and load times; ensure cross-browser consistency and accessibility. Ship end-to-end — Partner with backend and product to deliver secure, reliable features. Set the foundation — Move fast, take ownership, and establish our core front-end patterns and best practices. What You'll Bring 4+ years of front-end development experience Strong Next.js, React, and TypeScript skills Deep Tailwind CSS experience and a track record of building reusable component systems Solid state management (Zustand + Jotai) and data-fetching with React Query (v3) Genuine design chops — a strong eye for layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy Proficiency in Figma (plus comfort with Photoshop or similar for asset work) Extensive hands-on experience using AI tools in a real dev or design workflow Fluent written and spoken English Comfort in a startup: ownership, speed, and clear communication Nice to Have Built or maintained a design system or component library Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and performance best practices Experience integrating REST APIs and auth flows A portfolio showing both engineering and design work What We Offer High ownership and real impact on the product experience Meaningful work on security, risk, and compliance challenges A fast-moving team with simple processes and no corporate overhead Growth and equity opportunities Flexible, remote-first environment
