We are looking for a “Backup Technology Consultant” to be assigned to Backup Consultancy Operations Team Lead. Responsibilities Provide technical support for enterprise data storage and backup environments as part of a 24/7 Operations team Support storage and backup infrastructure projects, including implementation, migration, and upgrades Troubleshoot and resolve customer requests remotely or on-site when required Perform installation, capacity planning, upgrades, version management, performance monitoring, and incident management for storage and backup systems Implement and maintain data protection and disaster recovery solutions for storage and backup environments Support backup and restore operations across database and virtualization platforms Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with hands-on experience in backup technologies Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems Knowledge of storage technologies such as RAID, disk-based deduplication, and compression Good understanding of networking fundamentals Hands-on experience in storage and server installations Preferably experience in backup, storage migration, or infrastructure upgrade projects Hands-on experience with enterprise backup software Knowledge of backup and restore processes for databases and virtualization environments Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Eager to learn new technologies and approach technical challenges from different perspectives Fluency in English
