We are looking for a "Senior SAP BW Consultant" for our client • operating globally in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, objectives, and challenges. Conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and data sources to identify opportunities for improvement and data-driven insights. BI Solution Design: Develop and design comprehensive BI solutions, including data models, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data visualization, and reporting frameworks. Ensure the solutions align with business needs and industry best practices. Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract, cleanse, and transform data from various sources, such as databases, data warehouses, and external systems. Develop and implement data integration workflows to ensure the availability of accurate and reliable data for analysis. Data Visualization and Reporting: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Present complex data in a simplified and actionable format for end-users and stakeholders. Data Analysis and Insights: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data. Generate insights and recommendations that can drive strategic decision-making, optimize business processes, and improve overall performance. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, department heads, and executives to understand their needs, provide consultation on data-driven solutions, and deliver insights that support their decision-making processes. Project Management: Lead and manage BI projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate resources, track progress, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the field of BI and data analytics. Identify opportunities to enhance existing BI solutions, tools, and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Strong Data and Analytics Background: In-depth knowledge and experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques. Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Business Intelligence Tools: Extensive hands-on experience with popular BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar. Ability to create compelling visualizations and reports that effectively communicate insights. Data Warehouse Concepts: Familiarity with data warehouse design principles, data integration techniques, and dimensional modeling. Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business processes, operations, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value. Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing BI projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to deliver insights and recommendations. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights.
