Our offices are located in Espoo, Finland, and at Teknopark Istanbul on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. ⸻ Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Intern Technical Assistant who is interested in navigation technologies, robotics, drones, and autonomous systems. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering teams and gain hands-on experience with technologies such as GNSS/RTK positioning, cameras, inertial sensors (IMU/INS), sensor fusion, and Pixhawk flight management units. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about real-world positioning and navigation systems while contributing to exciting R&D projects. ⸻ Responsibilities As part of the team, you will support engineers in activities such as: Assisting with the integration, testing, and calibration of GNSS, RTK, camera, and IMU/INS systems. Supporting sensor fusion testing and validation activities. Collecting, processing, and analyzing positioning and sensor data. Learning and supporting Pixhawk flight controller configuration and testing activities. Participating in field tests, flight tests, and system performance evaluations. Preparing technical documentation, reports, and test records. Supporting hardware and software integration tasks for autonomous and unmanned systems under the guidance of experienced engineers. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to identify and resolve technical challenges. Researching emerging technologies and industry best practices related to positioning, navigation, and autonomous systems. ⸻ Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Interest in GNSS, robotics, drones, autonomous systems, or related technologies. Exposure to programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar technologies is a plus. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Interest in navigation, positioning, robotics, or autonomous systems. Experience gained through university projects, competitions, personal projects, or coursework related to embedded systems, sensors, drones, robotics, or software development. Good communication and presentation skills. Residence on the Anatolian side of Istanbul is preferred. ⸻ What We Offer Hands-on experience with cutting-edge positioning and navigation technologies.
