As a Global Procurement Commodities Senior Manager, Sweeteners , you will lead the Sweeteners category across Turkey, Ukraine, the UK, and all EU countries by developing and executing procurement strategies, optimizing supply chain configuration, driving long-term innovation and productivity initiatives, and delivering the sustainability and pep+ glidepath commitments. Responsibilities Own the long-term category strategy, translating global and regional priorities into a clear local roadmap that delivers annual operating plans, productivity, cash flow, innovation, operational excellence, resilience, and sustainability commitments. Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, supplier selection, tendering, negotiation, contracting, and commercial award decisions across the category, ensuring competitive advantage, strong governance, risk-managed decision-making, and sustainable value creation for the business. Provide senior procurement leadership in cross-functional forums to align priorities, remove barriers, accelerate decision-making, and secure resources for strategy execution. Manage a diverse supplier base across Beverage and Snacks operations, strengthening a resilient, competitive, and innovation-enabled supply base that supports a fragmented, multi-country scope spanning company-owned and co-manufacturing operations and business models. Execute playbooks to manage coverage and tenor; applying disciplined commodity risk management to price volatility, budget exposure, and policy compliance. Deliver year-on-year productivity, cost avoidance, other value savings, working capital, and cash flow objectives by identifying, prioritizing, and executing commercial, technical, and operational value levers across suppliers and internal stakeholders. Lead business continuity planning by proactively identifying exposure to supply disruption, quality issues, regulatory changes and constraints, supplier concentration, and market inflation, and by implementing mitigation plans that protect service, cost, and brand reputation. Enable affordable innovation and value engineering projects by leading supplier site and material approvals, coordinating gate inputs, resolving development roadblocks, and ensuring timely commercialization of projects. Drive supplier relationship management and performance governance, while escalating strategic issues and shaping supplier development priorities to strengthen continuous improvement. Shape category and market intelligence for stakeholders by monitoring commodity trends, supplier economics, macroeconomic and regulatory dynamics, and regional business requirements, converting insights into clear recommendations and strategic interventions that improve risk management and sustain competitive advantage. Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with Global Procurement Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Procurement, ideally within complex, multi-country environments. Strategic, analytical, and commercially focused mindset, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and actions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective influencing, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive alignment without direct authority. Commercial acumen & negotiation: strong influencing and negotiation skills to optimize outcomes across functions and geographies. Strong problem-solving capability, demonstrating structured thinking. Proven negotiation expertise, delivering value across cost, service, quality, innovation, and risk outcomes. Strong project/program leadership skills, including leading cross-functional projects and supporting innovation pipelines from concept to execution. Strong planning and prioritization skills with a results-oriented mindset to drive continuous improvement. Knowledge of Commodity Risk Management (e.g., market dynamics, exposure assessment, mitigation levers, hedging principles as applicable). Solid understanding of operations economics and cost drivers, including total cost-to-serve and value chain levers. Sustainability leadership to deliver long-term commitments and embed them into category strategy and sourcing decisions. Regulatory & quota regime expertise to anticipate policy changes and respond quickly to market interventions is a plus. Track record of implementing new ways of working, leveraging digital tools (AI-enabled and e-procurement/ERP tools) and process improvements to increase efficiency and transparency, and to drive insight-led decision making. Willingness to travel as required across the scope. Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
