Volunteer Project Leader Engagement Type: Volunteer – project-based Working Model: Online and/or in person, depending on the nature of the project Organization: IIHSE – International Institute of Health, Safety and Environment Association About IIHSE IIHSE is an international community that brings together professionals, organizations, academics, students and volunteers working in the fields of health, safety and the environment. We develop projects that contribute to protecting human health, creating safer working and living environments, promoting environmental sustainability and strengthening professional collaboration. We are now looking for team members who will help us develop these projects and contribute to the growth of the IIHSE volunteer community. Volunteer Work Areas Applicants may participate in one or more of the following working groups, depending on their interests and skills: Events and Organization Contribute to the planning of online and in-person events Manage event programs, task allocation and operational processes Support communication with speakers, participants and stakeholders Conduct post-event evaluation and reporting Social Media and Communications Prepare communication plans for IIHSE projects and events Contribute to the creation of social media content Prepare announcements, news articles, interviews and informative content Carry out activities that improve community engagement and organizational visibility Research and Content Conduct research in the fields of health, safety, the environment and sustainability Contribute to the preparation of reports, articles, guides and informative materials Monitor current practices, legislation and sector developments Carry out source and data research for projects Institutional Relations Contribute to partnerships with universities, non-governmental organizations, public institutions and private-sector representatives Research potential project partners and supporters Follow up on institutional meetings and collaboration processes Support the development of stakeholder and contact databases What We Expect from Volunteers Ability to turn an idea into a structured and measurable project Willingness to take active responsibility during the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of a project Commitment to teamwork and open communication Ability to follow assigned tasks and timelines consistently Interest in health, safety, the environment and social impact Openness to developing new ideas and continuous learning Commitment to acting in accordance with IIHSE’s organizational values and ethical working principles There is no mandatory profession, education level or minimum experience requirement. Students, recent graduates, working professionals, academics and retired professionals are all welcome to apply.
