Tube Production Line Innovation Leader

Department: Production Reports To: Production Manager Job Summary The Tube Production Line Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily production activities on the tube manufacturing line. The role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime. The Line Leader manages operators, monitors processes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the tube production line. Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved. Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and customer specifications. Lead, train, and support production operators and technicians. Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and procedures. Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machines operate efficiently. Monitor raw material usage and reduce waste during production. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentation. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Ensure proper setup and changeover of production equipment. Communicate production status and issues to management. Qualifications Technical degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (preferred). Experience in tube manufacturing, metal forming, or similar production environments. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards. Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
