Trading & Procurement Lead

On behalf of our business partner operating in zinc and metal recovery, we are seeking a Commercial Lead with experience in mining and commodity trading to manage sales and procurement operations end to end. Key Responsibilities Manage the procurement of raw materials, coal, EAF dust, lime, spare parts and other materials in line with the company’s best interests Organize purchase tenders and evaluate incoming bids from both technical and commercial perspectives Engage with potential customers for product sales, lead contract negotiations, and finalize tender and spot sales Monitor London Metal Exchange (LME) prices to support pricing and sales decisions Manage assay-based sales and two-stage (provisional / final) pricing processes Follow up on sales and purchase contracts, overseeing shipment, pricing and collection processes through to completion Coordinate customs procedures, REACH Regulation obligations and Inward Processing Regime operations together with the customs broker Ensure all purchasing and sales operations are recorded and reported in SAP Lead the team and keep senior management regularly informed Qualifications University degree, preferably in Mining, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering Senior-level trading experience in the mining and/or commodities sector Experience with LME and exchange-based pricing Strong command of assay-based sales and two-stage sales mechanisms Advanced, fluent English Proficient in SAP and MS Office Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen Excellent communication skills and a strong team player Able to take ownership quickly and work independently Military service completed (for male candidates) Valid driver’s license
