About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of financial services, digital products, and infrastructure. As the company enters its next growth stage, we are looking for a senior product leader to own its payment products and drive AI-powered operational transformation across the organization. About the Role This is a highly strategic role at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, Partnerships, and AI. Reporting to the leadership team, you will own the product and operational infrastructure behind the company’s core payment flows and lead AI adoption across critical business processes. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, Growth, and external partners to build scalable systems, improve operational performance, and support long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Own the strategy, roadmap, and operational performance of the company’s payment products and financial infrastructure. Lead the company’s AI transformation by identifying automation opportunities and implementing AI-enabled workflows across payments, operations, customer support, compliance, and internal processes. Drive product improvements by working closely with Engineering and Design while ensuring operational scalability, reliability, and an outstanding customer experience. Build and manage strategic relationships with payment, banking, and technology partners, overseeing integrations, partner performance, commercial negotiations, and new infrastructure opportunities. Improve operational efficiency and unit economics by optimizing transaction flows, partner costs, automation, and business processes. Partner closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into scalable product and operational initiatives. Build and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of ownership, execution, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For 7-12 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Payments, FinTech, Banking, Crypto, or another complex technology environment. Strong understanding of payment products, financial infrastructure, operational workflows, and product development. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Operations, and external partners. Hands-on experience using AI to automate workflows, improve operational efficiency, or build internal tools. Experience with AI agents or agentic workflows is a strong advantage. Strong commercial mindset with a track record of improving operational performance, cost efficiency, and unit economics. Experience managing strategic partnerships, APIs, or complex technology integrations. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven product and business decisions. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity. Excellent communication skills and fluent English. Nice to Have Experience with cross-border payments, wallets, financial infrastructure, stablecoins, or regulated financial products. Familiarity with KYC/KYB, AML, fraud prevention, or transaction monitoring. Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
