Chemical Raw Material Supply Chain Specialist

The company specializes in the production and sales of polyurethane, petrochemicals, performance chemicals, specialty chemicals, and emerging materials, serving customers across more than 100 countries. As Wanhua continues to expand its operations in Türkiye, we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist based in Istanbul to support and manage end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement coordination, Shore Tank Operations, bonded warehouse management, transportation, inventory control while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. Roles & Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations, including inbound/outbound logistics, bonded warehouse management, and post-sales logistics activities. Manage inventory planning, stock accuracy, monthly inventory analysis, and physical stock verification. Track stock movements, goods receipt/issue transactions, and logistics-related records through SAP system. Coordinate domestic transportation, warehouse operations, and customer delivery processes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Monitor bonded warehouse operations, coordinate with customs brokers, and verify import/export documentation and related processes. Coordinate shore tank operations, including product receiving, storage, and related logistics activities. Analyze logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Review and verify supplier invoices, monitor logistics service provider performance, and support supplier management processes. Coordinate daily operations with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transportation companies, warehouses, customers, and other relevant stakeholders. Identify operational risks, provide timely solutions to logistics issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations. Hands-on experience in bonded warehouse operations, customs processes, and import/export documentation. Experience in chemical logistics operations and shore tank processes is highly preferred. Knowledge of inventory management, transportation planning, and warehouse operations. Strong Excel skills are essential for this role Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Strong planning, coordination, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with suppliers, customers, and operational partners. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Chinese is an advantage. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
