Key Responsibilities: As an Actuarial Reporting Executive / Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting: Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports related to actuarial matters, including but not limited to reserve calculations, loss projections, and financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements such as IFRS17 (International Financial Reporting Standards). Reserve Analysis: Leading the actuarial team in performing reserve analyses, ensuring that reserves are adequate and appropriately reflect the company's liabilities. Risk Assessment and Management: Assessing and managing the financial risks associated with insurance products and portfolios, including modeling and forecasting future financial performance under different scenarios. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to actuarial reporting, including filing requirements, documentation standards, and adherence to industry best practices. Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilizing advanced statistical and actuarial modeling techniques to analyze data, forecast future trends, and support strategic decision-making by senior management. Financial Planning and Forecasting: Collaborating with finance and other departments to develop financial plans and forecasts, providing actuarial insights and recommendations to support business goals and objectives. Internal Controls and Audits: Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls over actuarial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and external audit requirements. Team Leadership and Development: Managing and developing a team of actuarial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support their growth and ensure the overall effectiveness of the actuarial reporting function. Stakeholder Communication: Communicating actuarial findings, insights, and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management, underwriting teams, regulatory authorities, and external auditors, in a clear and concise manner. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving actuarial reporting processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and relevance in meeting the evolving needs of the business. Main Responsibilities: Develop and implement actuarial techniques with a view to ensuring adequacy of reserve levels and monitoring developments. Loss reserving, technical provision estimation and support of Actuarial Function tasks Work and collaborate cross-functional with Claims, Pricing, Planning and Controlling. Conduct financial analyses to assess pricing impacts on revenue and profitability. Utilize data analytics tools to extract actionable insights for decision-making. Provide leadership and guidance to the Actuarial team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Financial Services, Insurance industry or a related field. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively.
