Product Assistant Intern

Kindhelm is a Finnish high-tech company specializing in high accuracy positioning, velocity, and direction determining solutions for system integrators and OEMs. Our IPESSA product range includes rugged positioning devices designed for mobile working machines, boats and drones. Our new LOCANOS product range provides cost-effective solutions for consumers. Leveraging state-of-the-art inertial sensors and global navigation satellite systems, our products ensure centimeter-level accuracy even in challenging conditions. Our offices are located in Espoo, Finland and on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, at Teknopark Istanbul. We are looking for an Intern Technical Assistant who will be involved in projects related to GNSS/RTK positioning, cameras, inertial sensors (IMU/INS), sensor fusion technologies, and Pixhawk flight management units. Day-to-day tasks include:  Assisting in the integration, testing, and calibration of GNSS, RTK, camera, and IMU/INS systems.  Supporting sensor fusion algorithm development and validation activities.  Collecting, processing, and analyzing positioning and sensor data.  Assisting with Pixhawk flight controller configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.  Participating in field tests, flight tests, and system performance evaluations.  Preparing technical documentation, reports, and test records.  Supporting hardware and software integration activities for autonomous and unmanned systems.  Collaborating with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues.  Conducting research on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to navigation, positioning, and autonomous systems. Requirements:  Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.  Basic knowledge of GNSS, RTK, IMU/INS, robotics, or autonomous systems.  Familiarity with Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar programming languages is a plus.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.  Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
