Deputy Manager • Operations • P4 Job Description Manage daily administrative and functional activities at the Visa Application Centre. Document scrutiny and verification for visa processing. Handling cash and bank transactions (if assigned). Maintaining and recording application data accurately and timely. Co-ordinating passport delivery to consulates, applicants, and logistics companies. Conduct regular audits and implement new process rollouts or changes. Monitor applications for missing or inaccurate information through regular quality checks. Ensure regular error monitoring to track and reduce monthly errors. Maintain and improve customer and mission satisfaction through process enhancements and innovation to increase productivity and cost-effectiveness. Ensure staff understand and contribute towards Team Objective Tracker parameters. Maintain adherence to Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures. Guide and support teams to comply with all required SOPs and processes. Ensure compliance with VFS Global principles, policies, and procedures. Maintain high standards of ethics, integrity, and corporate compliance. Ensure timely completion of all processes. Monitor and track internal errors, ensuring no penalties are incurred. Job Description Provide continuous professional development for staff through regular product and process training. Conduct internal process certifications to ensure effective process monitoring. Offer assistance to staff as needed and manage applicant/customer escalations. Co-ordinate with support functions to resolve team-related queries. Promote and achieve VAS targets for the VAC. Manage VAC productivity and security (physical and data). Regularly mentor the team, ensuring succession planning for the position. Sustainability Judicious use of natural resources. Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines. Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
