Founding Game Developer at SpiceUp Gaming

Spice Up is launching a new game studio: SpiceUp Gaming 🎮 At Spice Up, we currently produce Good Game Show and Boss Fight for Red Bull Turkey, Turkey’s most watched branded gaming contents. We are now expanding into game development! Our first project is a story-driven RPG with a modern daily life setting, turn-based battles, strange night worlds, emotional characters and a visual direction inspired by 2D and 3D hybrid JRPGs. As Founding Game Developer, you will help us build the first playable version of the game and shape the technical foundation from day one. What we are looking for: • Strong Unity or Unreal Engine experience • Ability to build gameplay systems from scratch • Experience and strong interest in RPG systems • Ability to prototype quickly and solve problems independently • Good understanding of stylized visuals, 2D and 3D hybrid workflows, lighting or shaders • Strong English reading comprehension for technical documentation • A playable portfolio, prototype, game jam project or shipped game We are open to both Unity and Unreal Engine developers. The priority is not engine loyalty. The priority is finding someone who can help us build a polished, playable and memorable game. This is a remote full-time position.
