# Purchasing Supervisor

For one of our clients operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, we are looking for a Purchaser based in Gebze, Kocaeli . The role will be responsible for managing indirect procurement activities, supplier relationships, and purchasing processes while supporting business continuity and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities Manage the timely and efficient procurement of indirect materials and services for assigned plants, countries, or regions in line with business requirements and company procurement policies Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, approvals, and related workflows within supplier enablement/procurement systems Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and payment terms for indirect materials and services, as well as selected direct materials outside strategic sourcing categories Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, delivery, service, and compliance requirements Coordinate supplier performance improvement activities and resolve non-conformances through the relevant processes and systems Create and maintain BP requests and price books, ensuring accurate and up-to-date procurement data Coordinate and schedule deliveries and ensure continuity of supply, including local sourcing requirements such as uniforms, safety supplies, and small machine parts Manage invoice matching issues and coordinate the resolution of gaps between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, sales teams, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide effective procurement and supply chain support Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and supplier development Prepare and review procurement reports and maintain accurate records, files, and administrative documentation Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Typically possesses 2-4 years of relevant experience Possesses previous experience working in a purchasing, buyer, or administrative role Proficiency in English and Greek (preferred) Demonstrates good customer service skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team Possesses an understanding of plant manufacturing operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any other relevant software (e.g. Coupa). Location & Working Model 📍 Kocaeli – Gebze | Hybrid
