Senior Technical SEO Specialist At NextCode, we see SEO as more than rankings. We combine technical SEO, software engineering, data, and AI to build scalable organic growth strategies. We work on large-scale web projects, optimizing not only for Google but also for AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). We're looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, stays ahead of emerging search technologies, and wants to make a measurable impact on ambitious digital projects. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and develop optimization strategies for websites. Plan and manage crawl budget, indexation, and site architecture improvements. Identify and resolve JavaScript rendering issues affecting SEO (SSR, CSR, pre-rendering, etc.). Design topical authority frameworks, content architecture, and internal linking strategies. Analyze log files to understand search engine crawler behavior and identify optimization opportunities. Implement and manage technical SEO elements such as Schema Markup, hreflang, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps. Develop or utilize Python or JavaScript scripts to automate SEO workflows and data collection. Develop Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies for AI-powered search platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and similar technologies. Collaborate closely with developers, content teams, and stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across projects. Qualifications 3–4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong focus on technical SEO. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with basic proficiency in Python or Node.js. Advanced experience with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and log analysis tools. Practical knowledge of JavaScript SEO, rendering pipelines, SSR/CSR, and their impact on search engine crawling and indexing. Strong understanding of crawl budget, indexation, rendering, and technical SEO best practices. Experience working on large-scale websites with complex information architecture. Familiarity with AI-powered search platforms and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
