Virtualization Specialist

As one of Türkiye's leading local cloud service providers, we are looking for a Virtualization Specialist to join our Virtualization Team . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Aspiring to build a career in virtualization technologies and cloud computing. Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms, preferably VMware. Windows Server operating systems and system administration. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, etc.). Knowledge of storage, SAN, and backup technologies is considered an advantage. Basic understanding of physical server hardware and data center infrastructure. Interest in or basic knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages. VMware VCP or similar virtualization certifications are an advantage, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area. Strong analytical thinking skills with a passion for research, learning, and continuous improvement. Ability to prepare technical documentation and maintain accurate records of completed work. Preferably proficient in English to read and understand technical documentation. Job Description Support the daily operations of virtualization platforms. Assist in monitoring, administering, and maintaining VMware-based infrastructures. Contribute to the operational processes of server, storage, and backup systems. Support the resolution of incoming technical support requests and perform the necessary escalations when required. Document completed tasks and contribute to keeping the knowledge base up to date. Work alongside senior team members on infrastructure projects while developing technical skills and professional expertise.
