Role Description The SAP Financial Accounting Support Consultantis a full-time hybrid role based in Istanbul, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for providing functional and technical support for SAP Financial Accounting modules, diagnosing and resolving user issues, and ensuring stable, accurate financial processes. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial-related incidents, configuring SAP settings where appropriate, collaborating with cross-functional teams (FI FSCM ABAP) to address integrated process requirements, and documenting resolutions and improvements. The Support Engineer also participates in testing new features, preparing user guides, assisting with system upgrades, and advising stakeholders on best practices for financial data integrity and reporting. Qualifications Strong foundation in finance and financial engineering, with the ability to understand accounting processes and translate them into SAP solutions (Finance, Financial Engineering). Advanced analytical and quantitative capabilities to interpret complex data sets and evaluate financial system behavior (Analytical Skills, Quantitative Analytics). Hands-on experience or training with SAP Financial Accounting (e.g., FI, FSCM) and understanding of integration with other SAP modules such as SD,OTC and ABAP. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple support requests and small projects simultaneously. Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Turkish language proficiency is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with diverse teams, and maintain a customer-focused mindset. 4-6 years of hands-on technical experience in Sap FI & FSCM Experience on bank integrations like MT940 , Web Services ,SFTP .
