R&D Electrical Engineer

Dalgakıran Kompresör established the very first R&D Center in compressor business in Turkey, aiming to better understand the requirements of its success partners and tailor solutions according to their needs. In early 2020 Dalgakıran Kompresör moved it's production facilities to its new integrated smart factory to answer growing demand. We're looking for a R&D Electrical Engineer to be part of our R&D team located in Dilovası Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering MBA/Master’s degree is a plus Expertise in control and three phase power circuit design Strong knowledge of electric motors, frequency inverters, and electrical protection systems Experience using electrical design tools such as EPLAN P8 or equivalent Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming, including industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Profinet Proficiency in MS Office applications Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Fluent in English, both written and spoken Ideally located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Kocaeli, or Gebze Job Description Design and develop electrical and automation systems for R&D projects Design motor systems, selecting and integrating appropriate drivers Ensure R&D projects comply with electrical and industrial standards Develop and optimize PLC/HMI programs using TIA Portal or similar software Provide technical support to departments including Production, After-Sales, and Service teams Prepare and maintain technical documentation for ongoing and completed projects Participate in commissioning activities, supporting on-site testing and troubleshooting Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required
