Fertilizer Trader

Status: Start-Up position within a well-established international company Location: Turkey About the Role: My Client is a high-velocity agri-commodities Distributor & trader building a transparent, efficient, and scalable fertiliser supply chain for Turkish farmers and cooperatives. We are looking for a hungry, hands-on Fertiliser Trader to own the entire P&L for physical and derivative trades. If you want to build a desk from scratch and reap the upside, let’s talk! Core Responsibilities include: End-to-End Trade Execution Market Intelligence & Hedging Supply Chain Ownership Risk & Compliance Liaise with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry regulations on fertiliser registration and import licensing, and manage Letters of Credit (LCs) Relationship Building Export & Re-export of the products from Turkey ports to EU countries What You’ll Need (Non-Negotiables) Experience: 4 –10 years in physical commodity trading (fertilisers a huge advantage) Start-up or entrepreneurial trading experience is a strong plus Existing Network: Proven, verifiable relationships with at least 2–3 international producers OR large-scale Turkish buyers/distributors. Knows Turkish fertiliser import & licensing procedures LC documentation & trade finance Port & inland logistics within Turkey (port storage, trucking, rail) Fluent in English • speak and write "Build Turkey’s next-gen agri-input supply chain from the ground up!"
