Role Description This remote Mechanical Engineer Internship role offers hands-on experience in supporting mechanical design and engineering activities under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with machine design concepts, preparing and updating CAD models and drawings, and contributing to basic calculations and design documentation. The intern will support research and development efforts by gathering data, evaluating design options, and helping test and validate engineering solutions. Responsibilities may also include participating in virtual project meetings, maintaining organized records, and coordinating small tasks within project timelines. This is an internship position designed to build practical skills while contributing to ongoing engineering projects. Qualifications Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and interest in applying them to real-world projects. Skills in Machine Design, including basic component selection and mechanical system layout. Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings. Ability to support Project Management activities such as tracking tasks, managing documentation, and collaborating with team members. Interest and aptitude in Research and Development (R&D), including data collection, analysis, and testing of design concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and respond to feedback constructively.
