Logistics Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities Is delegated by the Plant Manager to manage the workforce, the buildings and the machineries of warehouse, shipping and receiving facilities of the Plant. Ensures the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and quality of logistics processes, to satisfy customer needs. Ensures compliance with local laws and Group policies on health and safety and the environment. Represents the company in dealings with the authorities, insurance companies, in general, with the public administration in matters relating to environmental protection, workers' health and safety, and accident prevention. Ensures the accurate implementation and daily application of Corporate Procedures and Guidelines within the organization of warehouse, shipping and receiving activities. Ensures the full coordination and communication between of his/her organization and other Organizations, as well as with Corporate Departments. Skills and Competencies Required Technical degree, Previous working experience in leading warehouse facility, Fluent in English. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mediate and manage conflicts. Customer-oriented. Autonomous decision-making. Oriented towards objectives and problem solving. Management and development of employees. Capacity for delegation (in large organizations). Time management/organization. Promotion of change.
