Part-time Math Teacher

Required Qualifications and Skills: Have at least a B.A. or B.S. degree in the content area to be taught and a recognized teaching certification from a state educational authority (PGCE suffices for UK applicants). Both the degree and teaching qualification are required for approval by the Turkish Ministry of Education. Fully and highly qualified, fluent English-speaking teacher with excellent verbal and writing skills. Preferably a minimum of five years of relevant teaching experience in a comparable secondary level setting. Design and deliver rich, effective and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students. Demonstrate a belief in all students’ ability to succeed and meet high expectations. Play a full and active role in the continual development of high-quality teaching and learning. Have the ability and willingness to contribute to the residential and extra-curricular life of the school. Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues. Understands that a primary responsibility is to establish and maintain positive rapport with families and regularly communicates with and responds to students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner. Use innovative educational technologies to enhance learning. A collaborative planner, able to develop projects and resources across subject disciplines. Interested in developing the 21 st century skills and qualities in every student.
