Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities: • Lead overall renewable business development activities, • Lead greenfield renewable project development activities from site identification through permitting and pre-construction stages, • Supporting renewable due-diligence studies, • Managing permitting process & communication with internal customers and external stakeholders (consultants, subcontractors, relevant state institutions etc.), • Conduct market research, monitor regulatory developments and prepare relevant reports, • Valuation support and preparation of the financial model inputs, • Supporting strategic planning processes. Qualifications: • University degree (preferably in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical and/or Electrical, Industrial, Civil, Energy, Geomatics) • MSc or MBA in the field of Energy Studies, (wind, solar and renewables preferable) • Excellent command of both written and spoken English, • Strong experience about renewables in Turkish electricity market, • Experience in energy sector as project responsible including experience in some of these fields (i.e. project development, permitting, project implementation, project M&As, project valuation, DD studies specifically in wind projects; as well as other forms of renewables especially in solar) • Technical know-how about wind and solar power generation technologies, • Technical know-how about wind and solar energy yield assessments (preferable), • Regulatory know-how about Turkish Electricity Market with strong experience about the permitting procedures, • Strong track record in the development of renewable energy projects, • Business minded and analytical thinking, • Proactive and goal oriented, able to work within teams, • Advanced excel and power point knowledge, • Moderate understanding of GIS applications and CAD programs, • Moderate understanding of financial modeling, • Strong negotiation & communication skill.
