Qualifications 10+ years in IT with a hands-on architecture background Proven experience in enterprise integration, API design, and service-oriented architecture Strong software development background — ability to engage directly with dev teams on architecture and design decisions Experience with DevOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/hybrid platform engineering AI/ML technology awareness and experience evaluating or integrating AI into enterprise systems TOGAF certification or equivalent architecture framework knowledge Insurance or financial services sector experience is preferred COBIT or ITIL knowledge is an advantage Fluent in English. Job Description Implement and govern solution architecture across all IT domains, ensuring alignment with the corporate Reference Architecture defined by MAPFRE Design solution architectures for business applications based on corporate standards, integration patterns, security principles, and approved technology capabilities Govern integration implementation across applications, ensuring compliance with API standards, service layer principles, and interoperability requirements with core insurance platforms Ensure delivery teams adopt and correctly implement the corporate technology standards, architectural principles, and engineering practices Support and guide development teams on solution architecture, application design patterns, scalability, resiliency, and code quality aligned with the Reference Architecture Promote the adoption of the corporate Engineering Platform, CI/CD standards, reusable infrastructure services, and Platform Engineering capabilities Collaborate with MAPFRE central architecture teams to ensure local implementations remain aligned with global architecture evolution and strategic initiatives Act as the architectural point of contact for local projects and initiatives, ensuring solution decisions are consistent, supportable, secure, and operationally aligned with corporate platforms and standards.
