Regional Go-to-Market (GTM) Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Lead We are seeking a Regional Go-to-Market SHE Lead to lead the Safety, Health, Environment and Security agenda across the region for a leading multinational FMCG company. The role will partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Workplace Services, HR, Occupational Health, Legal, Customer Development, Communications and external partners to shape and implement the regional SHE strategy across non-manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will drive a strong culture of safety, wellbeing and environmental responsibility, with the aim of achieving zero harm, reducing workplace incidents and improving performance across waste, emissions, energy consumption and CO₂ reduction. Key Responsibilities: Strategy into Action, Business Partnering, Safety Governance and Culture Leads the Regional GTM SHE strategy, priorities and roadmap in line with Global and Regional direction. Identifies key risks and agrees mitigation plans with Supply Chain and Business Operations leaders. Acts as a trusted SHE partner to the Türkiye Board and key Regional GTM stakeholders. Provides expert advice, risk analysis, practical solutions, training and operational support. Supports business continuity and crisis management forums. Coordinates Incident Management Team activities, follow-up actions and technical support. Partners with Regional and Category Environmental and Engineering teams. Drives compliance and sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, water, energy use and CO₂ emissions. Works with the EU and Regional SHE Director to strengthen leadership commitment. Embeds safety into business priorities and promotes visible safety leadership. Coordinates bi-monthly Central Safety, Health and Environment Committee meetings with the Supervisory Board. Supports the Regional Safe Travel and Road Safety Committee. Tracks actions and ensures timely follow-up. Develops and delivers the SHE communication plan. Promotes safe behaviours based on key risks and incident trends. Leads site risk assessments and mitigation programmes across Electrical Safety, Working at Height, Process Safety, Permit to Work, Construction Safety, Road Safety and MMHE. Supports Industrial Hygiene programmes. Implements SHE standards across third-party logistics partners, logistics centres, warehouses and transport providers. Drives safety culture transformation across the region using Company tools, and relevant external solutions. Leads delivery of the roadmap required to meet ESRS commitments. Team Performance Management, Capability Development and Motivation Leads Regional SHE teams responsible for Occupational Health, Safety, Security and Environmental performance. Ensures delivery against agreed plans and targets. Builds SHE capability across the team. Ensures competencies meet Company standards and License to Operate requirements. Conducts quarterly and annual performance reviews. Supports career development and maintains robust Future Fit Plans for all team members. Builds a high-performing, customer-focused and inclusive culture. Promotes collaboration, integrity, respect, diversity, equity and accountability. Applies recognition, reward and consequence management fairly to sustain motivation and performance. Incident Investigations, Improvement Plans, Audits and Compliance Excellence Ensures timely and high-quality investigation of all relevant SHE incidents, including fatalities, serious incidents, potentially serious incidents and other recordable cases. Leads post-incident reviews where required. Shares lessons learned and ensures preventive actions are implemented across relevant sites. Develops and implements SHE improvement plans. Converts strategy into practical actions and prioritises CAPEX and OPEX investments to reduce risk. Acts as the SHE Compliance Officer. Establishes internal and external audit programmes against Company SHE and Security standards. Prepares the annual audit plan and conducts audits across plants, warehouses and toll manufacturers. Provides Senior Management with an annual overview of SHE performance, risks and priorities. Partners with the Health Department to assess Occupational Health risks and implement programmes that prevent work-related illness. Works with Workplace Services to reduce risks across office and R&D environments. Engages with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legislation and Company standards. Works with Occupational Health professionals to identify and mitigate risks that may lead to occupational ill health. Monitors changes in legislation, regulations and standards. Ensures timely implementation and advises key stakeholders on new requirements. Experiences & Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or related fields would be an advantage. Master’s degree in science, engineering, supply chain management or a related discipline is preferred. Additional academic or professional qualifications in supply chain management, occupational safety or a related field are desirable. At least 10 years of professional experience, including leadership responsibility for SHE and Security in an international organisation. 5–7 years of hands-on operational Supply Chain experience, ideally gained in a complex multinational environment, would be a strong advantage. Strong practical knowledge of supply chain processes, operational risk management and safety management systems. Excellent knowledge of SHE requirements and relevant ISO standards. Good knowledge of road safety principles, programmes and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of Behaviour-Based Safety methodologies, supported by a proven record of successful implementation. Advanced project management capabilities, with the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions. Advanced coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support individual and team development. Strong observation, inspection and auditing capabilities, with attention to operational detail and risk identification. Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills. Inclusive and engaging people leadership, with the ability to motivate teams, encourage collaboration and support continuous learning. Strong performance management, coaching and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to balance accountability, challenge and support. Sound business judgement and the ability to inspire both short-term delivery and sustainable team performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
