WordPress Developer & Website Manager (Part time & Remote)

Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time WordPress Developer & Website Manager to fully own and manage our websites. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on WordPress experience, understands SEO deeply, and is comfortable working in HIPAA-compliant healthcare environments. You will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and continuously improving our website infrastructure, performance, security, and SEO. This is a long-term, remote, part-time role with flexible hours. Strong WordPress and SEO experience are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain our WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, content structure, and site architecture. Build, update, and optimize pages using WordPress and WPForms. Own all form logic, workflows, conditional rules, and secure data handling using WPForms. Ensure HIPAA-compliant web practices, including secure form handling, storage, access controls, and integrations (Vault systems, secure data flows, PHI protection). Manage website security, backups, updates, uptime monitoring, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot technical issues related to hosting, caching, speed, display, plugins, and compatibility. Implement SEO best practices across site structure, content, metadata, schema, accessibility, and performance. Monitor and analyze website performance, traffic, and SEO metrics using analytics tools. Continuously identify opportunities to improve UX, conversion rates, site flow, and performance. Collaborate with internal teams on content updates, campaigns, and design improvements. Manage domain, hosting, plugin licensing, and technical documentation. Create and maintain internal SOPs and technical documentation to ensure consistency, clarity, and continuity across website operations. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with WordPress (required) Advanced experience with WPForms (required) Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation (required) Experience working with HIPAA-compliant web environments and secure form handling Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and working knowledge of PHP Experience managing hosting environments, caching, backups, and performance optimization Strong written communication skills in English (CV must be submitted in English) High attention to detail, ownership mentality, and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthcare, mental health, or other HIPAA-regulated environments Experience with secure data storage systems and Vault solutions UX / UI design experience Google Analytics, Search Console, and performance tracking dashboards Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required) Personal Qualities We Value Reliable and punctual Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong sense of ownership and accountability Clear communicator Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Proactive problem-solver Work Type Part-time, remote Flexible schedule Long-term collaboration preferred
