Role Description The Environmental Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in İstanbul, Türkiye. This role is responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing environmental systems and processes that support sustainability and circular economy projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting environmental impact assessments and contributing to the design and improvement of renewable energy, sustaianbility and emissions control systems. The Environmental Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical reports and documentation, provide input for permitting and regulatory submissions, and offer environmental consulting support to internal stakeholders and clients. The role also involves monitoring system performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability improvements, and ensuring alignment with net-zero waste and carbon-neutral objectives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Impact Assessment, including familiarity with relevant local and international regulations. Candidates should possess skills in waste management, with experience in designing, operating, or optimizing related systems and processes. Candidates should possess experience in Environmental Consulting, including preparing technical documentation, reports, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using engineering and environmental modeling software tools. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work safely on industrial sites and in multidisciplinary project teams.
