Software Engineer | Remote

Position: Open Source Contributor Type: Contract Compensation: $50 - $100/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Contribute production-quality code, reviews, and documentation to open-source repositories. Design, implement, and optimize complex algorithms and system components. Identify and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with other contributors and stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals. Create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation for knowledge sharing. Participate in code discussions and provide constructive feedback. Requirements Have strong relevant experience in contributing to open-source projects. Applicants must have clear open source contributions and profiles like GitHub or GitLab. Experience with C++, Python, JAVA, GoLang, Typescript, or Rust is required. Previous experience working on large-scale, distributed codebases is preferred. Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning systems is a plus.
