Senior Accounting Specialist

As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Senior Accounting Specialist " with below requirements for our client . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields 5-7 years of professional experience in finance and core accounting functions Strong hands-on experience with SAP modules; active SAP usage is mandatory Good command of English (minimum B2 level, both written and spoken) Prior experience in the Outsourcing departments of Big4 firms (PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte) is a strong asset Good knowledge of Turkish tax regulations and accounting practices Experience in e-Transformation processes (e-Invoice, e-Ledger, e-Waybill, etc.) Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Ability to take ownership of tasks and manage processes end-to-end Open to continuous improvement, system development, and project-based work Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and feedback-oriented environment No restrictions for domestic and international travel when required Job Description Monitor tax-related processes and prepare statutory tax declarations accurately and on time Record personnel expenses and follow up related financial transactions and reporting processes Perform accounting entries including import declaration closing transactions, supplier invoice processing, customer invoice issuance, and cost analysis activities Manage end-to-end accounting operations in compliance with local regulations and company policies Coordinate and oversee all e-Transformation processes, including e-Invoice, e-Ledger, and e-Waybill applications Act as a Key User in SAP enhancement, optimization, and system transition projects Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes and system efficiency Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting Ensure compliance with company procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives within the finance function
