ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to support and further develop our operations in Turkey. As NRF continues to grow its presence in the Turkish market, this role offers a unique opportunity to help build and shape the accounting processes from the ground up. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial administration, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination between local operations and our international headquarters. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST? Set up and maintain accounting and administrative processes in line with Turkish regulations and NRF standards Ensure accurate bookkeeping and proper documentation in accordance with local legislation Manage statutory compliance, including tax filings and regulatory reporting Monitor deadlines for tax, legal, and administrative obligations to ensure timely submission Liaise with external stakeholders such as tax authorities, auditors, accounting providers, legal advisors, and banks Coordinate financial and administrative activities between the Turkish entity and NRF headquarters Support month-end and year-end closing activities in collaboration with international teams Prepare and maintain contracts, official documentation, and administrative reports Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies Provide administrative and financial insights to support local business operations and decision-making Identify opportunities for process improvements and digitalization within the accounting and administrative function WHAT YOU WILL BRING AS A SENIOR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5–10 years of experience in accounting or a senior administrative/financial role Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax regulations, and statutory requirements Experience setting up or structuring accounting processes is a strong advantage High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a growing business Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international context Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools Fluent in English, both written and spoken WHAT WE OFFER A full-time position in a growing and dynamic international organization The opportunity to play a key role in building a new and expanding business Exposure to international accounting practices and cross-border collaboration A company culture focused on development, sports, and digital innovation Access to learning and development programs, including Expedition NRF Opportunities for continuous learning and career growth ABOUT THE TEAM You will work closely with both the local Turkish team and NRF’s international finance network across Europe.
