Site Engineer

Role Description We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee daily site operations and ensure construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and established timelines. This role plays a key part in coordinating site activities, monitoring project progress, managing technical documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project delivery. Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, engineering standards, and project schedules. Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement practical solutions to maintain productivity and project milestones. Work closely with project managers, consultants, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination throughout every stage of the project. Attend site meetings, prepare progress updates, and facilitate collaboration among all stakeholders. Review engineering drawings, technical documents, method statements, material specifications, and construction plans to ensure compliance with design requirements and project objectives. Assist in resolving technical queries and provide engineering support during construction activities. Monitor construction quality through regular site inspections, ensuring workmanship complies with quality assurance procedures, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify non-conformance issues, recommend corrective actions, and verify that improvements are implemented effectively. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment allocation, workforce scheduling, and site logistics to ensure uninterrupted project execution. Monitor resource utilization and support cost-effective project planning while maintaining operational efficiency. Prepare site reports, progress reports, inspection records, technical documentation, material tracking reports, and project updates for management review. Maintain organized project records to support project control, quality management, and audit requirements. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies. Conduct routine safety inspections, identify potential hazards, promote safe working practices, and support incident prevention initiatives across the construction site. Assist in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk assessment, and progress monitoring to ensure projects are delivered on time and within established quality expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing engineering best practices. Collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, design, planning, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges, coordinate project requirements, and support successful project completion. Demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, professionalism, and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions within a collaborative and fast-paced construction environment. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, project coordination, and site management practices. Knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, construction standards, and quality assurance procedures. Familiarity with construction management software, project scheduling tools, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, or other engineering applications is an advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and project priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records. Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and construction compliance requirements. Ability to conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring while ensuring adherence to engineering standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to prepare technical reports, progress updates, engineering documentation, and project presentations. Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to support project execution and team collaboration.
