Associate Lawyer

Karaçam & Şir is an Istanbul-based corporate and finance law firm advising on complex cross-border transactions in public and private markets, with offices in London, New York, and Astana. Our practice covers mergers & acquisitions, venture capital and startup transactions, banking & finance, capital markets, and regulatory matters, and we regularly act for founders, investors, financial institutions, and corporates on multi-jurisdictional deals in close coordination with international counsel. We are looking for a corporate and commercial lawyer to join our Istanbul office. The Role: • Advising on M&A, venture capital, and corporate transactions, from term sheet to closing • Providing day-to-day legal support to retainer clients on corporate and company law matters, including ordinary course of business contracts, board and general assembly resolutions, share transfers, and corporate housekeeping • Advising foreign investors and international companies on establishing and operating their businesses in Türkiye, including company formation, market entry, and ongoing legal counsel • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across a range of sectors • Supporting startups and investors on corporate structuring, shareholder arrangements, and fundraising • Advising on data protection and transaction-related regulatory matters • Working directly with clients and coordinating with international counsel on cross-border matters Requirements: • Law degree from a reputable university • 1-5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, contracts, startup law, and data protection at reputable law firms or reputable companies as in-house counsel • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset • High energy, adaptability, and eagerness to grow within a fast-paced and international legal practice To apply, please send your CV via LinkedIn
