Job Description We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our growing team in Istanbul. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, with a particular focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT). In this role you will lead the design and implementation of risk-based monitoring and control processes, support regulatory readiness, and drive continuous improvement in internal compliance practices across the bank. Key Responsibilities Lead the Compliance activities in line with the regulations set by MASAK and other relevant authorities. Establish, implement, and continuously improve AML and CFT policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with a risk-based approach. Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the timely implementation of required changes across the bank. Detect and report suspicious transactions related to money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Design and execute control and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Coordinate and prepare AML and CFT-related training sessions and supporting documentation for employees. Track legal notices and official correspondence received from regulatory institutions and ensure appropriate actions are taken. Support audits, inspections, and examinations from internal and external parties by providing required documentation and guidance. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AML and CFT compliance within the banking sector. In-depth knowledge of MASAK regulations, Turkish AML legislation, and international standards. Having MASAK licence Fluency in both written and spoken English. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, agile, and growing organization.
