Senior QA & Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong Mobile Automation, Automation Framework Design and AI-powered Software Testing experience. The role will actively contribute to Quality Engineering practices, mobile automation architecture, AI-assisted testing, and engineering excellence across our Mobile, Web and Backend platforms. What You'll Do Test Planning & Design: Design comprehensive test strategies for mobile and web applications by reviewing requirements, user stories, and design documentation to create effective test scenarios Test Automation Development: Develop, maintain, and scale test automation solutions using Java and frameworks/tools such as Gauge, Selenium, and Appium. Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing automation frameworks. Mobile, Web & Backend Testing: Execute functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across web, mobile, and backend systems. API Testing: Create and execute REST API test scenarios, validate API endpoints, and perform defect analysis using tools such as Postman and Swagger. Infrastructure & Environment Management: Plan, set up, and maintain the test environments and infrastructure required for both manual and automated testing. DevOps & Process Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices, release processes, and continuous improvements in software testing. AI-First Approach: Actively leverage up-to-date AI models, tools, and methodologies throughout the testing lifecycle to improve test analysis, scenario generation, automation development, and defect analysis. Defect Tracking & Reporting: Log and track defects using JIRA, prepare detailed test reports, and collaborate with relevant teams to share results and drive quality improvements. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of software testing experience. Solid understanding of testing processes for web, mobile, backend, and REST APIs, with experience using Postman and Swagger. Strong hands-on experience with mobile test automation is essential. Experience with Appium, Playwright, Maestro, or similar mobile automation technologies is highly preferred. Candidates with strong native Android and iOS automation experience will be prioritized. Experience designing and developing test automation frameworks from scratch, not only maintaining existing frameworks. Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, or similar test management and defect tracking tools. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. Good understanding of DevOps practices, software release processes, test environment management, and Agile software development methodologies. Hands-on experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development tools throughout software development or test automation workflows. Ability to identify repetitive manual activities and transform them into scalable engineering solutions through automation and AI. Hands-on experience with macOS is highly preferred. Experience with Linux is a plus. A mentoring mindset with the ability to support and guide junior team members. Strong time management, collaboration, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines. Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Istanbul, with flexibility to attend client visits within the city when needed. Good command of English. Completed or exempted military service for male candidates.
